The Secretariat of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation (SECTEI) of Mexico City has launched a call for the unique high school exam, an opportunity to validate high school education in a single test. This exam is aimed at individuals over 21 years old who reside in CDMX and hold a secondary school certificate.
To register, you need to have a secondary school certificate, CURP, birth certificate, and official identification in digital format, proof of address, an active email address, and be available for 20 hours a week for the preparation course.
The key dates for the call are as follows: registration will be open until March 28, 2025, on the official SECTEI website, the preparation course will take place from April 2 to June 25 on the Aprendesectei platform, with in-person advice at SECTEI and Pilares locations, and the exam will occur from July 28 to August 1, 2025.
The exam to obtain the high school certificate consists of achieving 126 correct answers in five areas divided as follows: Mathematics (41 items), Social Sciences (37 items), Humanities (34 items), Experimental Sciences (69 items), and Communication (29 items).
